** - Join a dynamic team in a fast-paced Operating Room environment.
- ** General
Job Duties:
** - Circulate cases and ensure efficient turnover cleaning.
- Assist in patient transport as needed.
- Efficiently schedule surgical cases.
- ** Independently Circulate Procedures Include:** - General Surgery - Orthopedic Surgery - Vascular Surgery - Ophthalmic Surgery - Urology - ENT Surgeries - Endoscopy - Robotic Surgery - Obstetrics and Gynecology
- ** Equipment Utilized:** - Meditech - PYXIS
- ** Required
Skills and Experience:
** - Minimum of 2 to 3 years of circulating experience in a hospital setting.
- Ability to scrub cases is preferred.
- ** Certifications and Licensure:** - BLS certification.
- Valid State of Hawaii RN license required.
- ** Shift Requirements:** - Monday through Friday, operating from 0645 to 2315.
- Variable shifts based on department needs.
- Expected to cover call 24/7, with an average of 1-2 calls per week and up to 2 weekends a month.
- Must be within a 30-minute radius of the hospital for call back.
- ** Orientation and Shift Commitment:** - Initial orientation on day shift for up to 1 week, as per manager's discretion.
- Complete a minimum of 39 shifts during the contract if RTO (requested time off) is approved.
- ** Unit Details:** - 6 operating room suites and one dedicated to C-sections.
- Daily operations with 4 to 6 rooms running simultaneously in a small but busy OR.
- ** Dress Code:** - Scrubs provided.
