Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced ER RN with an active HI license and ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications for a day shift assignment.
Responsibilities- Work in a 28-bed Emergency Department with 4 trauma bays, 2 behavioral health rooms, and 22 cardiac monitor rooms
- Day shifts with a schedule of 3 twelve-hour shifts per week (36 hours weekly)
- Fast-paced environment with rapid patient turnover
- Team-oriented atmosphere
- All travelers must report to Employee Health 48–72 hours before assignment start
- Plan to arrive in Hawaii the Thursday prior to a Monday start to complete Employee Health checks
- Environment features trauma and behavioral health care responsibilities
- First time travelers are accepted
- Active RN license for the State of Hawaii required by start date
- Minimum of 2 years of recent ER nursing experience
- Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
- Preferred certifications include Procedural Sedation, TMCC, and EMPC
