** - Join a vibrant team dedicated to exceptional patient care in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
- Embrace the excitement of caring for patients in their pre-operative, Phase I, and Phase II recovery stages.
- Apply your advanced knowledge of anesthesiology to assess incision sites, monitor vital signs, and ensure patient stability post-surgery.
- Utilize your critical thinking skills to anticipate and address potential complications swiftly.
- Benefit from your past experiences in critical care and surgical nursing, making you an ideal candidate for this dynamic role.
** Key Equipment You'll Use:** - Meditech - PCA Pumps - Pyxis - Braun IV Pumps - Cryocuff - SCDs - Bair PAWS Warmers - HP Monitors - Phillips Monitors
** Requirements:** - Minimum 2+ years of experience as a critical care RN (i.e., ER & ICU) in a hospital setting, or PACU nursing experience.
- Valid BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
- A valid professional nursing license in the state of Hawaii.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is recommended for specific positions.
- Other specialty-related certifications (e.g., NIHSS & TNCC) are preferred.
** Schedule Details:** - Shifts vary: 8, 10, or 12 hours.
- Flexibility with days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays; no guaranteed hours or shift preference.
- On-call shifts: 0-3 times per month (8-hour nights and 24-hour weekends/holidays).
- Holiday coverage is required.
