American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery/Postpartum/Nursery position in Hawaii, requiring a minimum of 3 years of L&D experience and an active HI RN license.

• Variable shift position with both day and night shifts possible on 12-hour shifts (36 hours/week)
• Covers Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery (L&D/PP/NSY) units
• L&D unit has 8 labor beds;
  Postpartum unit has 18 beds
• Scheduled 12-hour call shift required at least once per month
• Uses Meditech computerized charting system
• Fetal monitoring via GE/Centricity system
• 13-week contract
• Responsibilities include caring for laboring patients, assisting with deliveries, and providing immediate newborn and post-delivery care for mother
• All travelers must report to Employee Health 48–72 hours prior to the start of assignment; this appointment is held at Hilo Employee Health and attendance is mandatory
• Travelers should plan to arrive in Hawaii the Thursday before a Monday start date in order to attend the Employee Health appointment Friday morning
• COVID-19 vaccination is required for this position

• Active Hawaii (HI) RN license required by start of assignment; candidates without one must apply upon acceptance of offer
• Minimum 3 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
• Required certifications: BLS and NRP
• Recommended certifications: STABLE and Advanced Fetal Monitoring (Advanced FM)
