Flex RN Floats between various medical and surgical units

Shift or schedule requirements: 12-hour shifts - Night (1845 to 0715) - Scheduled 36 hours per week following first week of orientation.

Equipment utilized in the unit/dept.

Meditech EMR; pyxis; wound vac; chest tubes.

Required skills and minimum years of experience: 2-10 years experience

Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required: BLS, ACLS (Preferred: PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, ENPC)

Floating to other units/departments:
Medical Unit;
Laulima Unit;
Cardiovascular Unit (on rare occasions)

Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept:
Medical - 77;
Laulima (surgical Acute) - 18;
Cardiovascular Unit - 15

Nurse to patient ratio of this unit:
Medical 1:6 for days and eves, 1:8 for nights;
Laulima 1:6;
Cardiovascular 1:4. Ratio may vary due to unexpected leaves.
