• Must arrive the Thursday before your start date for a required employee health appointment on Friday

Key Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Recent experience in MS Oncology setting
• Proficient in administering chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapy
• Skilled with port-a-caths, PICCs, Hickman catheters, and venipuncture
• Demonstrated knowledge in handling hazardous drugs and PPE usage
• Epic EMR proficiency required

Responsibilities

• Independently administer various cancer therapies/injections as ordered
• Perform port/catheter access, venipuncture, and dressing changes
• Routinely monitor patient condition, document accurately, and manage all IV therapies
• Communicate with oncology physicians and respond appropriately in emergencies
• Educate patients and families on treatments, side effects, nutrition, and care adaptation
• Ensure informed consent for chemotherapy and strictly follow safety protocols
• Maintain compliance with institutional policies and standards
• Adapt to additional assignments in an 18-bay, semi-private setting
