Travel Registered Nurse ER

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (ER) travel assignment in Hilo, Hawaii.

Start date:

13 July 2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $1,778 – $1,923 per week. No guaranteed hours. Shift: Nights, 3x12‑hour shifts. Orientation during the first week; after orientation schedule is 36 hours per week. Candidate must arrive the Thursday before the start date to complete employee health requirements.

• Orientation:

• Deliver emergency nursing care in a busy ER, including triage, initial assessment, and rapid stabilization of diverse patients
• Administer medications, support procedures within scope, and monitor patients with cardiac and trauma needs
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff to develop and adjust patient care plans
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record accurately
• Maintain patient safety, infection control, and adherence to department protocols in a fast‑paced setting
• Communicate patient status, discharge instructions, and care needs clearly to families and the care team

• Hawaii RN license active by the start of assignment; license must be in good standing
• ER nursing experience in a fast‑paced environment preferred; able to manage high patient turnover
• Availability to work nights (3x12‑hour shifts) and participate in orientation as scheduled
• Must arrive the Thursday prior to start date to complete employee health requirements
• Ability to work in a 28‑bed ER with trauma bays, behavioral health spaces, and cardiac monitoring
