Critical Care (CCU) RN

We are seeking a dedicated Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCU RN) to join our team at our busy critical care unit. The CCU RN will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients who are critically ill, requiring constant monitoring and specialized treatment.

• Monitor and assess patients' conditions, including vital signs and telemetry readings
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to create and implement individualized care plans
• Perform procedures such as intubations, ventilator management, and arterial line insertions
• Respond to emergencies and provide advanced life support interventions
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and post-discharge care
• Document all patient interactions and interventions accurately and timely

• Current RN license in the state of practice
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in critical care nursing
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work in a high-stress environment and prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
