Position Summary
Any traveler not currently in possession of an active State of HI license must apply upon acceptance of offer. Candidate must have a Hawaii license by the start of assignment. The position is at a long‑term care facility on the site of a hospital.
Responsibilities- Perform assessments and treatments
- Administer medication
- Notify MD/NP of pertinent information
- Admit and discharge patients
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADL)
- Provide gastrostomy tube care
- Provide urinary catheter care
- Administer nebulized treatments
- Perform wound vacuum (Vac) care
- Provide CPAP care
- Perform tracheostomy care
- Complete other assigned duties
Shift: 8‑hour shifts, varied, including weekends and holidays. Candidates must be flexible; no guarantee of hours or shift preference.
Requirements- Active State of Hawaii nursing license
- Valid BLS or BCLS certification
- Experience in long‑term care preferred
- Registered Nurse (RN) credentials
