Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) to provide care for adult patients in an acute psychiatric setting. The RN will coordinate patient care, administer medications, and support patients and families throughout treatment.
Responsibilities- Provide nursing care to behavioral health patients
- Administer medications and treatments
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams
- Educate patients and families
- Handle crisis situations using appropriate prevention techniques
- May take Charge Nurse responsibilities
- Minimum 2 years of Behavioral Health RN experience
- Active Hawaii RN License (required by start date)
- BLS (AHA required)
- Crisis Prevention Certification (NCI or equivalent)
