We are looking for an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join our 28‑bed ER unit in Hawaii. The position is a 15‑week assignment with a schedule of three 12‑hour shifts per week (approximately 36 hours). Hours are not guaranteed, and the role may involve early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed.
Responsibilities- Provide emergency nursing care in a 28‑bed department that includes 4 trauma bays, 2 behavioral health rooms, and 22 cardiac monitor rooms.
- Deliver rapid, team‑oriented patient care in a fast‑paced environment with high patient turnover.
- Coordinate care with physicians, technicians, and other health‑care professionals.
- Current valid Hawaii nursing license with ability to obtain a license by the start of assignment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.
- Preferred certifications:
Procedural Sedation, TMCC, EMPC. - Experience in an emergency department and ability to handle high‑volume, critical situations.
