Contract Nurse – Transitional Care Unit

Schedule:

Scheduled 36 hours per week following the first full week of orientation. Varied shifts and days; flexibility is required.

Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed

Requirements:
Active state license required by the start of the assignment. 2-10 years of experience. BLS certification. Knowledge of Meditech EMR, pyxis, wound vac, chest tubes, tube feeding, NG/G-Tubes, Trach Care, PICC/PORT

Roles & Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care in a transitional care unit setting. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Monitor patient conditions and report significant changes. Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.

Compliance / Notes:
Must arrive the Thursday before the start date to attend the employee health appointment. Professional nursing attire is required.
