RN Medical - Varied

Job Summary

Travel RN – Med‑Surg. 13‑week contract. Must obtain or already possess an active Hawaii license within 30 days of acceptance of the offer. Day or night shift availability required. Scheduled 36 hours per week after the first full week of orientation. Variable shift lengths and days; no guarantee of hours or shift preference. No holiday RTO requests accepted.

• Provide RN med‑surg level care to patients 18 years and older.
• Float to surgical pediatrics or transitional care units as needed.
• Utilize equipment such as Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound VAC, chest tubes, etc.
• Participate in the unit’s first‑week training and orientation program.

• Minimum 2+ years of med‑surg or higher level of care experience.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Professional nursing attire and closed‑toe shoes required.
• Able to work in a 1:5 nurse‑to‑patient ratio within a 50‑bed medical unit.
• Flexible to variable shift lengths and days; no guarantee of hours.

• Bed size: 50 beds.
• Nurse‑to‑patient ratio: 1:5 in the medical unit.
