Job Description:

Registered Nurse needed for the Transitional Care Unit with varied shifts. The 13-week contract includes scheduled 36 hours per week following the first full week of orientation. Flexibility is required as there is no guarantee of hours or shift preference.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medication and manage patient care using Meditech EMR.
• Utilize equipment such as pyxis, wound vac, chest tubes, and tube feeding systems.
• Provide care including NG/G-Tubes, Trach Care, and managing PICC/PORT.
• Potentially float to Med Surg and Surgical Peds units as needed.

Requirements:

• 2-10 years of experience in nursing.
• Active Hawaii RN License by start of assignment.
• BLS certification required; ACLS not required unless agency requirement.
• Proof of flu vaccination or approved exception required prior to contract start date.
