Registered Nurse — Long-Term Care (LTC) travel assignment in Hilo, Hawaii.

Long-Term Care component on site within a hospital campus setting.

  Long-Term Care component on site within a care campus

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and document findings for ongoing care planning
• Implement and monitor care plans; administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Notify the physician or mid-level provider of pertinent changes in patient condition
• Manage admission and discharge processes; assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
• Provide specialized care duties such as gastrostomy tube care, urinary catheter care, and nebulized treatments
• Deliver wound Vac care, CPAP therapy support, and tracheostomy care as assigned
• Collaborate with the interprofessional team to ensure safe, patient-centered care and proper communication
• adhere to safety and infection control practices while maintaining patient dignity and privacy

• Active Hawaii RN license by start date (must be in hand to begin assignment)
• Ability to perform essential duties in a Long-Term Care component on site within the care setting
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Must arrive the Thursday prior to the start date to complete employee health clearance
• Travel eligibility and readiness to work in Hawaii for the duration of the assignment

• Current RN education appropriate for Hawaii licensure (as required for Hawaii practice)
• Licensure in Hawaii must be active by the start of the assignment
