Registered Nurse – Progressive Care
Scheduled 36 hours per week following the first week of orientation. No guarantee of hours.

Current state license required At least 1 year hospital acute care experience within the last year Progressive Care and telemetry experience preferred ACLS preferred Current PALS preferred NIHSS certification preferred
Provide direct nursing care and oversight to patients in a progressive care unit. Perform telemetry monitoring and read telemetry strips. Conduct fingerstick blood sugar tests as needed. Administer medications and manage patient care using electronic medical records. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and outcomes. Float to other acute care units as assigned.
Must arrive the Thursday before the start date to attend an employee health appointment on Friday. Scrubs are required for this position.
