This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule:
12-hour Night Shifts (1845 to 0715) - Scheduled for 36 hours per week following the first week of orientation. Hours are not guaranteed.
Job Description:
The Registered Nurse (RN) will float between various medical and surgical units, providing care to patients based on their needs. The successful candidate must have an active Hawaii nursing license before the start of the assignment.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care across multiple units, including Medical, Laulima (Surgical Acute), and Cardiovascular Units.
- Administer medications and perform nursing procedures as required.
- Utilize the Meditech EMR system, Pyxis, wound vacs, and chest tubes.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum of 2-10 years of nursing experience.
- Current Hawaii RN License required.
- BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory; PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, and ENPC are preferred.
