American Traveler is hiring an RN Flex Pool
- Med/Surg for a Days position in Hawaii requiring an active HI RN license and 2+ years of experience.

• Flex RN floats between various medical and surgical units within a hospital setting
• Adult Med/Surg and Step Down patient population
• Floats to Medical Unit (77 beds), Laulima Surgical Acute Unit (18 beds), and on rare occasions the Cardiovascular Unit (15 beds)
• Nurse-to-patient ratios:
  Medical 1:6 (days/eves) and 1:8 (nights), Laulima 1:6, Cardiovascular 1:4 (ratios may vary due to unexpected leaves)
• Uses Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vac, and chest tubes
• 12-hour day shifts scheduled from 0645 to 1915
• Scheduled 36 hours per week following the first week of orientation with no guarantee of hours

• Active Hawaii RN license required by start of assignment
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, and ENPC certifications preferred
• 2-10 years of nursing experience required
• Must provide documented proof of immunity as medical and religious exemptions will not be accepted

• Must report to Employee Health 48-72 hours prior to assignment start, requiring arrival in Hawaii the Thursday before a Monday start to report Friday morning
• Unit-specific orientation and training time provided
• Professional nursing attire with clean scrubs required
