Labor & Delivery / Postpartum / Nursery Registered Nurse (OB RN)

Hilo, HI

Contract | Rotating Day and Night Shifts | 12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours per Week | On-Call Required

• Provide comprehensive care for laboring patients throughout the labor and delivery process
• Assist with deliveries and provide immediate post-delivery care for both mother and newborn
• Deliver postpartum care across an 18-bed postpartum unit
• Utilize fetal monitoring systems (GE/Centricity) and document care using a computerized charting system (Meditech)
• Participate in scheduled 12-hour on-call shifts at least once per month

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — a valid State of Hawaii RN license is required and must be obtained prior to the start of assignment
• Minimum of 3 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification — required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification — required

• STABLE Program certification
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification

• Opportunity to practice in a unique and desirable Hawaii location within a well-equipped OB unit featuring 8 labor beds and 18 postpartum beds
