Medical Surgical Registered Nurse Opportunity

Seeking a qualified registered nurse to provide care in a medical-surgical environment. The role involves delivering patient-centered nursing services across various shifts, ensuring compliance with safety and clinical standards.

Responsibilities:

• Administer patient care by performing assessments, planning, and implementing nursing interventions.
• Operate medical equipment such as Meditech EMR, pyxis, wound vac, and chest tubes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient information and clinical procedures.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including BLS and ACLS certifications, and follow dress code standards.
• Float to designated units such as Laulima and Cardiovascular as needed.

Qualifications:

• Possess an active Hawaii nursing license prior to start date.
• Have 2 to 10 years of nursing experience in a medical-surgical setting.
• Hold current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Demonstrate flexibility to work various shift lengths and days.
• Exhibit strong clinical skills and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
