Medical Surgical Nurse

Provides comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Medical Surgical unit, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes and adherence to clinical standards. This role involves collaborating with healthcare teams to deliver effective and efficient patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs and update medical records accurately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies and intervene as necessary.
• Comply with all facility policies, including licensing, vaccination, and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Hawaii RN license by the start of the assignment.
• Possess 2-10 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Demonstrate flexibility to work various shifts and float to different units.
• Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proven ability to adhere to strict clinical standards and procedures.
