Registered Nurse – IMC​/PCU​/Stepdown

Imc/Pcu/Stepdown Nurse

Provides specialized nursing care to patients in the IMC/PCU/Stepdown units, ensuring their condition is closely monitored and appropriate interventions are administered. The role involves float assignments across various medical and surgical departments to support patient care needs.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions to develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders.
• Monitor vital signs and clinical parameters regularly.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic medical records.
• Adapt to float assignments across medical, surgical, and cardiovascular units.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Hawaii RN license prior to start date.
• Possess 2-10 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Maintain current BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Meditech EMR, Pyxis, and wound vac management.
• Exhibit strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
• Be able to work 12-hour day shifts on a flexible schedule.
