Registered Nurse IMC​/PCU​/Stepdown

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse will provide specialized care to patients in the IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit, ensuring high-quality clinical services and patient safety. The role involves flexible scheduling and unit versatility to meet patient needs.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Monitor patient status, including vital signs, and respond to changes promptly.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
• Document patient information accurately using the Meditech EMR system.
• Float between medical, Laulima, and cardiovascular units as needed.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Hawaii Registered Nurse license prior to or upon acceptance.
• Possess 2-10 years of clinical nursing experience.
• Be current with BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vac, and chest tube management.
• Exhibit strong critical thinking, adaptability, and communication skills.
