Labor & Delivery / Postpartum / Nursery Registered Nurse (HI-OB RN)

Hilo, HI | Acute Care

Contract | Variable Rotating Shifts (Days and Nights) | 12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours per Week | Scheduled 12-Hour Call at Least Once per Month | No Guarantee of Hours or Shift Preference

• Provide comprehensive care for laboring patients, including assessment and monitoring throughout the labor process
• Assist with deliveries and provide immediate post-delivery care for both mother and newborn
• Deliver postpartum care across an 18-bed postpartum unit
• Utilize computerized charting via Meditech and perform continuous fetal monitoring using GE/Centricity systems
• Work across Labor & Delivery (8 labor beds), Postpartum, and Nursery settings as assigned

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — active State of Hawaii RN license required by start of assignment (candidates without a current HI license must apply upon acceptance of offer)
• Minimum of 3 years of Labor & Delivery experience
• BLS certification (Required)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification (Required)

• STABLE Program certification (Recommended)
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification (Recommended)
• Experience with Meditech electronic health records system
• Familiarity with GE/Centricity fetal monitoring equipment
