As a Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing safe, compassionate, resident-centered care to our nursing home residents. You will oversee the delivery and evaluation of nursing care, collaborate with residents, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team, and provide leadership and direction to CNA's and other nursing staff.

• Assess residents’ physical, emotional, and clinical needs; develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care in collaboration with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care within the scope of professional practice, including medication administration, monitoring of conditions and lab values, documentation, and responding to changes in resident's condition.
• Communicate and collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, families, and other healthcare professionals regarding resident conditions, orders, treatment plans, and discharge planning.
• Supervise, assign, and provide direction to CNA's and other nursing personnel to ensure appropriate staffing, quality care, and timely completion of resident care needs.
• Coach, mentor, train, and evaluate nursing staff; address performance concerns, assist with conflict resolution, and recognize employees for quality performance and resident care.
• Promote resident rights, safety, infection prevention, comfort, autonomy, and choice while supporting regulatory compliance, facility policies, quality improvement initiatives, and ongoing professional development.

• Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Recent clinical experience, education, or specialty experience in geriatric nursing preferred/required as applicable.
• Working knowledge of nursing practices, infection prevention and control, medication administration, resident rights, and applicable state and federal regulations governing skilled nursing facilities.
• Strong assessment, clinical judgment, communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to effectively supervise and collaborate with CNA's, nurses, interdisciplinary team members, residents, and families.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn and use electronic medical records and other facility software.
• Commitment to continuing education, professional development, and maintaining current clinical knowledge.
• Must maintain regular attendance and meet applicable health, background screening, reference, and other employment requirements.
