Provides effective reporting and analysis for decision‑making forums and external engagement activities. Collaborates across the company to collect data and critical information needed to ensure that completed wildfire work meets all stated requirements through consistent and effective monitoring of wildfire progress and performance metrics, including quality assurance and controls. Maintains internal control records, supports audit readiness activities, manages document workflows, and supports continuous improvement of WSS processes.
Ensures organizational traceability, status visibility, and reporting accuracy across all WSS functions.
WSS Portfolio and Performance Monitoring
- Provides data‑driven analysis in support of the overall WSS development and updates, applying new requirements that impact the wildfire mitigation strategies and portfolio.
- Coordinates with cross‐functional teams to monitor progress and performance metrics aligned with WSS project and program scope and quality.
- Identifies and develops high‑level processes for collecting and analyzing timely, accurate updates on progress, performance, quality, and compliance updates with initiative owners.
- Validates critical milestones and metrics to identify significant adjustments to scope and cost and enables development of recovery plans.
- Prepares regular updates and supports escalations of appropriate execution risks and performance and quality issues to Wildfire Portfolio & Performance team members for resolution.
- Prepares reports for quality and compliance metrics that provide insights into any required changes to wildfire mitigation scope or quality control to meet WSS goals and objectives.
- Provides ongoing status updates required to ensure work that is scoped is completed, as designed, and in adherence to plans and standards and aligned with regulatory expectations.
- Develops data and reporting tools that support the development of Hawaiian Electric's quality assurance and control framework.
- Maintains internal review finding logs, resolutions, and continuous improvement actions.
- Reviews WSS implementation processes to assess effectiveness and identifies improvement gaps.
- Continually monitors data integrity issues and recommends enhancements to improve data quality.
- Administers SharePoint, wildfire KPI dashboards, and audit tracking databases to ensure accurate and complete reporting and provides user training as needed.
- Supports maintenance of a centralized knowledge management system for WS portfolio, performance and quality activities (plans, reports, models, audits).
- Manages document control, versioning, and accessibility.
- Participates in internal knowledge sharing sessions and briefings.
- Provides analysis, prepares materials, and supports wildfire mitigation portfolio oversight forums (internal governance committees).
- Works to build status reporting tools that support timely communication of portfolio progress, performance, quality and compliance outcomes to stakeholders.
- Provides data and insights needed to support responsive and aligned decision‑making across all wildfire mitigation initiatives.
- Integrates portfolio oversight, performance and quality lessons learned into ongoing updates of WS processes and policies.
- Collaborates with Legal and Regulatory Affairs departments and other WS teams to support monitoring and reporting on compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manages wildfire‑related regulatory reporting requirements and partners with Regulatory Affairs to track commitments and deadlines, ensure ongoing compliance and develop frameworks that support potential external reviews.
