The Four Seasons Resort Lāna’i is looking for a Cook IV who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. Acclaimed chef Nancy Silverton is known for Los Angeles eateries such as Michelin-starred Osteria Mozza, Pizzeria Mozza and chi SPACCA. Signature dishes include Nancy’s Caesar, Ricotta & Egg Raviolo, Grilled Hamachi Spiedino and Alla Benno pizza featuring pineapple in a nod to Lanai’s heritage. Salads will feature fresh lettuces from nearby Sensei Farms while pasta is made with local eggs, producing a uniquely rich fresh pasta dough.

Breakfast specials include Smoked Salmon Crostone, Sourdough Waffles and Eggs in Purgatory.

The Cook IV prepares and executes high-quality menu items in accordance with established recipes, production standards, and guest specifications. This role supports daily kitchen operations by maintaining food quality, safety, and sanitation standards while ensuring a clean, organized, and efficient work environment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Prepare and execute menu items according to established recipes, portion standards, presentation guidelines, and guest specifications while maintaining consistent quality
• Complete mise en place and maintain station readiness to support efficient daily kitchen operations and service execution
• Operate, maintain, and properly clean kitchen equipment, including ovens, grills, fryers, mixers, slicers, steamers, and other culinary equipment
• Monitor inventory, par levels, and product freshness by following proper food storage, labeling, dating, stock rotation, and temperature-control procedures
• Minimize food waste and support food cost controls by managing product usage, identifying shortages, and maintaining appropriate production levels
• Uphold food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards, ensuring a safe, organized, and efficient kitchen environment
• Collaborate with culinary team members to support smooth kitchen operations and deliver exceptional guest dining experiences
