This is a new location set to open in June 2026, and this role will play a key role in launching and establishing this new store from the ground up.

As a Sales Expert you will provide the highest level of connection and focus to each guest that enters a melin store. Your role includes opening the business, setting up for a successful day, and shutting down the store and managing the drawer and daily revenue drop. You will also handle operational procedures, manage cashiers, provide premium customer service, set alarms, and keep the store clean and organized.

The Sales Expert should have scheduling flexibility, customer service orientation, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a team‑player attitude.

• Engage with new customers and build immediate, lasting rapport by personalizing customer connections through hospitality and service.
• Exhibit deep product knowledge to support all client inquiries, maintain awareness of competitors, and expertly communicate selections that meet customer needs.
• Demonstrate a positive, outgoing, high‑energy, entrepreneurial, sales‑focused attitude to customers and team members.
• Execute training and strategies to consistently deliver the best premium guest experience at the store.
• Perform restocking, back‑of‑house operations, supply needs, and daily store maintenance as directed by Store Management.
• Problem‑solve and resolve customer issues with professionalism, even in high‑stress situations, and communicate feedback respectfully and organizedly.
• Ensure the retail floor is always clean and presentable, maintaining store concepts and visual standards, and assist with back‑of‑house duties including receiving and placing product.
• Support and promote Cashwrap & POS procedures, reconcile tills, process returns, exchanges, gift cards, and discounts accurately with manager approval.
• Open and close the store following standard operating procedures.

• Minimum of one year of sales and merchandising experience, preferably retail goods, with closing and opening responsibilities.
• Elevated communication skills that can be tailored to the audience.
• Strong independent work ethic, excellent time‑management skills, and strong organization.
• Preferable proficiency in action sports, golfing, running/training, and a passion for the outdoors.
• Computer skills, including operating Shopify POS sales.
• Support and promote the Point‑of‑Sale process, complying with register procedures, protocols, and policies.
• Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
• Self‑motivated with strong entrepreneurial skills.
• Ability to engage with new customers and build lasting rapport.
• Creative and adaptable team player with a winning and positive attitude.
• Personalize customer connections by providing the highest level of hospitality and service.
• Must be able to lift, carry, or otherwise move objects weighing up to 15 pounds when merchandising the sales floor and use ladders or stairs.
