Travel:
Frequent travel required within assigned territory (50%+ travel)

- We are seeking an Associate Growth Merchant Lead (aGML) to help expand its restaurant network in underserved and rural markets. This is an outside sales role focused on meeting restaurant owners face-to-face, building relationships, and signing new restaurant partners onto the platform.
- You will work closely with a Regional Sales Manager and use sales tools and resources to identify, approach, and close new restaurant partnerships.
- Travel throughout assigned territories to identify and engage potential restaurant partners.
- Meet restaurant owners in person and present the benefits of partnering.
- Generate new business by signing local and regional restaurants onto the platform.
- Negotiate partnership and revenue‑sharing agreements.
- Manage a fast‑paced sales cycle and close deals quickly, often within a few days.
- Build and maintain relationships with restaurant owners and operators.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to develop market expansion strategies.
- Track sales activities and maintain accurate records of prospects and partnerships.
- Represent the brand professionally in local communities.
- Most travel will be within approximately 2 hours of your home location.
- Some overnight travel may be required.
- Occasional longer travel days (6–7 hours driving or flights) may occur.
- All approved travel expenses are covered.
- Candidates must live within 40 minutes of either Hilo or Kona.
- 2+ years of successful sales experience, preferably selling to small and medium‑sized businesses (SMBs).
- Restaurant, hospitality, food service, beverage, or local business sales experience is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to prospect, negotiate, and close new business.
- Comfortable working independently in a field sales environment.
- Strong communication, relationship‑building, and negotiation skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build territory growth strategies.
- Experience with both inside sales and outside sales techniques.
