Position Summary

Security Communications Center (SCC) Specialist – 24/7 communications center, dispatch, and real‑time monitoring support for secure U.S. Government facilities. Requires active TS/SCI clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and operate security communication systems, including cameras, alarm panels, access control systems, and electronic surveillance tools.
  • Receive, process, and dispatch emergency and non‑emergency calls, relaying accurate, time‑sensitive information to police, fire, medical, and security personnel.
  • Respond to and coordinate alarm events (burglary, trespass, unauthorized entry, life safety), track officer deployment, and provide continuous situational updates until resolution.
  • Manage radio communications, monitor officer status, respond to assistance requests, and elevate critical transmissions following site procedures.
  • Maintain detailed incident, alarm, and dispatch records in government‑approved systems.
  • Perform alarm resets, routine system checks, issue emergency notifications, assist team members, and complete required training and recertification.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with full‑scope polygraph (CI Poly acceptable pending approval).
  • Experience in security operations, emergency dispatch, monitoring, or communications in a cleared environment.
  • Completion of government‑approved SCC training and annual recertification.
  • Valid state  driver’s license; age 18 or older.
  • Strong situational awareness, ability to prioritize under pressure, and excellent verbal communication.
  • Physical capability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lb., and perform other listed tasks.
  • Compliance with government vision/hearing and physical fitness requirements.
Physical and Mental Demands
  • Visual acuity, manual dexterity, stooping, grasping, reaching, lifting, climbing, walking, and repetitive motions.
  • Hearing, talking, and capacity to think and concentrate over long periods.
  • Ability to wear safety equipment and perform job functions in varying environmental conditions.
Compensation

Hourly pay range: $23.37 - $33.00 (actual offer varies). Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, disability insurance, flexible spending accounts, paid maternity and parental leave, family leave, and additional paid time off.
