Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location;
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with hospital personnel and/or first responders as needed;
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions;
Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, helping to support an orderly environment for patient care and daily operations;
Assist with security-related requests such as escorts, directions, and incident reporting while maintaining professionalism and respect in a healthcare setting
