This position is responsible for the repairs and preventive maintenance of all resort facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for guests and staff.

• Complete guest room preventive maintenance on a scheduled basis.
• Clean and maintain all property areas.
• Respond to guest and colleague repair requests promptly.
• Maintain specified equipment and areas, including battery replacement and AC filters.
• Assist higher‑level engineers with day‑to‑day duties and special projects.
• Perform painting and other surface maintenance as required.

• Service‑oriented with strong attention to detail.
• Team player with effective communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, energetic, and maintain a clean appearance.
• Knowledge of basic electrical systems (120V) and use of multi‑meters and probes.
• Understanding of plumbing and piping, including copper and PVC fittings.
• General HVAC knowledge (fan coils, air handling units, exhaust fans, makeup air units).
• Experience with system maintenance: filter changes, bearing lubrication, coil cleaning, drain pan upkeep, belt replacement.
• Familiarity with OSHA workplace safety standards (PPE, lock‑out/tag‑out, ladder safety, HAZCOM).
• Ability to read manufacturer instructions, schematics, and blueprints.
• Customer‑service skills to handle escalated situations with patience and diplomacy.
• Physical ability: stooping, kneeling, reaching, bending, twisting, pushing, walking, and lifting up to 25 lbs; carrying objects up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license.

• Hourly Rate: $30.80 USD.
