Overview The Removal & Reinstall Foreman will provide leadership and technical expertise for a solar removal and reinstallation crew. The Foreman is responsible for the safety, quality, customer experience, and productivity of each assigned solar removal and reinstallation tech. The Foreman is a working field position that leads a team of 2 to 3 members to successfully complete residential solar removals and reinstallations as well as any service work required.

Responsibilities Responsible for the successful removal and reinstallation of residential solar projects including but not limited to the installation of the electrical systems that interconnect the solar array to the grid power of the customer's residential property.

When assigned, safely lead or assist solar battery installations.

Ensure accuracy of your own and crew's time sheets.

Organize, lead, and train crew members to complete projects within established guidelines and time frames.

Check on progress of installers every hour throughout the installation to ensure the installation process;
Follow construction job flow procedures.

Review inventory at loading dock to ensure the assigned crew truck is adequately stocked.

Layout and assemble solar modules, mechanical and structural mounts, electrical equipment and tools in preparation of installation.

Apply weather sealing to roofing structure, building or support mechanisms.

Remove and assemble racking, solar modules, panels, electrical equipment, or support structures as specified in the project plan.

Effectively manage all aspects of the construction workflow of the project to drive productivity.

Maintain and communicate supply and equipment issues to properly address all service call needs.

Develop a positive working dynamic within installation crew and branch co-workers;
Analyze and resolve worker problems and recommend solutions;
Maintain consistent and appropriate interface with customer throughout construction phase.

Maintain regular communication with field performance techs and Performance Call Center.

Ensure work performed by all electricians is of good workmanship and compliant with current NEC and local electrical codes.

Troubleshoot system problems and resolve electrical issues.

Perform project clean up including client site and installation vehicle.

Ensure attention to detail with an emphasis on safety, quality, customer service, and productivity.

Participate in mandatory training sessions on new products, installation methodology, and safety.

Perform service calls when necessary.
