SAP ABAP Developer

Location: Remote - Must sit in the United States

Pay range: $80-90/hour

We are seeking a skilled SAP ABAP Developer to design, build, and support custom SAP solutions across a complex SAP landscape. This role requires strong hands‑on ABAP development experience, deep understanding of SAP integrations, and the ability to collaborate closely with functional teams to deliver high‑quality, scalable solutions. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, technically strong, and comfortable working across multiple SAP modules.

• Strong hands‑on experience with SAP ABAP development
• Expertise in developing custom reports, enhancements, interfaces, forms, and workflows (RICEFW)
• Experience with classical and OO ABAP, including performance optimization
• Strong understanding of SAP data models and table relationships
• Experience working closely with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Ability to debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues
• Familiarity with SAP integration technologies (IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, Web Services)
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

• Experience with S/4
  
  HANA ABAP development
• Exposure to SAP Fiori/UI5 or CDS views
• SAP ABAP certification
• Industry experience in Oil & Gas or project‑driven environments

• Design, develop, test, and deploy custom ABAP programs, reports, enhancements, forms, and interfaces
• Collaborate with functional teams across FI/CO, PS, MM, SD, and other modules
• Develop and support integrations between SAP and external systems
• Optimize existing ABAP code for performance and scalability
• Participate in technical design reviews, code reviews, and troubleshooting efforts
• Support system testing, transports, and production deployments
• Document technical designs and development standards
• Provide ongoing support and continuous improvement for SAP solutions
