Courier​/DOT

Overview

Driver / operator of company vehicles. Provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. Checks shipments for conformance to Fed Ex features of service and provides related customer service functions. Performs other duties as assigned.

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

High school diploma/GED. Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs and to maneuver packages heavier than 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance.
• Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Neat appearance as customer contact is required.
• Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Medical exam required in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations; non-covered safety-sensitive position.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to read, write and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials, and respond to official inquiries and directions per FMCSA enforcement guidance.

• Must be 21 years old and have a clean driving history.

• Pay: $24.21 - $35.25 per hour.
• Pay transparency notes:
  The salary information represents the job level minimum and maximum; actual starting pay is determined by factors including experience, market level, location, and job-related factors.
• The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement (details provided by location).
• Part-time details:
  Mon–Fri, 12:30 p.m.–6:00 p.m.;
  Pay $24.21/hr.
