Our Steam Turbine Engineering team develops and designs highly efficient turbo machines and seeks new talents to join. Latest engineering sciences and disciplines integrated with digital technologies are key competencies we are looking for. The Steam Turbine Engineer is responsible for designing both rotating and stationary structure technologies, enabling world-class Steam Turbine performance and efficiency. This is a critical role requiring both system level knowledge of turbo machinery (Thermodynamics) and detailed mechanical design.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Owncomponentdesigninexecution of NPI, ITR, and factory/field support activities for new units and aftermarket services
• Drivetechnologyadvancements from a Shaftline System, subsystem, component and material / life vista points
• Collaborate with global & cross-functional team of internal Steam Turbine Engineers and external stakeholders (Drafting/Global Supply Chain) enabling & fostering mutual technical growth and delivering for our customers.
• Follow rigorous R&D Tollgate Process from Conceptual Designthru  fieldvalidationfor component design across the full spectrum of Gas Power turbine configurations. Execute appropriate engineering analysis (hand-calcs, FEA analysis) to ensurerobustdesigns meet all required CTQs.
• Demonstrated excellence applying fundamentals of Thermodynamics and Mechanical Design, including material properties, statics, strength of materials, fluid dynamics, stress/strain fatigue (LCF & HCF) and creep. Demonstrated experience with Finite Element Analysis  (ANYSIS).

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor'sdegree from an accredited university or college in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• 0-1- year engineering experience

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $72,000.00 and $. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
