Long Cove Club is seeking a Tennis Court & Facility Maintenance Associate to join our team. This hands‑on position is essential to ensuring our clay courts and tennis facilities remain in top condition for our members. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and willing to assist in the pro shop when needed. We have opportunities for part‑time or full‑time positions.

• Groom clay courts daily, including brushing and lining courts twice per day
• Operate court roller and maintain court playability
• Clean court benches, tables, chairs, and walkways regularly
• Empty court trash cans and remove debris from facility grounds
• Install and remove windscreens as needed
• Perform minor repairs to fences, windscreens, nets, and court equipment
• Paint court fences and maintain facility aesthetics
• Keep maintenance building clean and organized

• Open and close the pro shop according to scheduled hours
• Reserve courts and manage scheduling for members
• Answer phones, check messages, and respond promptly to inquiries
• Notify tennis professionals of schedule changes
• Communicate court conditions and weather‑related updates to members via phone and Fore Tees
• Process financial transactions accurately
• Monitor court play and assist with tennis ball machine setup
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Basic mechanical aptitude for minor repairs
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Previous experience in tennis court maintenance or facility upkeep preferred
• Valid Driver's License required

• Travel pay: $7 / day, up to $150 / month
