As a Start-Up Technician, you’ll be the first point of contact after pool construction is complete. You’ll guide homeowners through the initial care process, balance water chemistry, and make sure every system is running smoothly. Your role ensures a professional handoff and an excellent first impression of A-1 Pools’ service.

• Provide on-site startup services for new pool builds and renovations
• Test and balance water chemistry to meet required standards
• Educate customers on basic pool operation and maintenance
• Communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners
• Ensure all pool systems are functioning properly during the startup phase
• Document startup activities and report follow-ups if needed
• Travel to job sites throughout Bluffton, Hilton Head, and nearby areas

Qualifications & Skills

• Basic understanding of water chemistry and pool operations
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Organized and dependable with good time management
• Experience in pool care or water testing is a plus (training provided)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
