Role Overview: The Registered Nurse in the Medical Surgical (Acute Care Unit) provides personalized patient care, collaborating with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual care plans that promote health or support peaceful end-of-life. They serve as team leaders, utilizing evidence-based practices and compassion to guide patients through their health journeys.
Responsibilities Include- Establishing authentic relationships with patients and support systems
- Managing and delivering care according to policies and procedures
- Collaborating with physicians and team members for optimal outcomes
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a Bachelor's degree preferred
- Current RN licensure in the appropriate state
- One year of relevant experience preferred
- Ability to reactivate or reinstate a lapsed license with a Board-approved refresher course if applicable
