Driving Range Attendant

Description

You will serve on a team whose job is to engage with all its audiences to create a memorable golf experience at the Toptracer Range and Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort. You will contribute to the success of the Resort by ensuring a clean, organized, and well-stocked driving range while providing friendly customer service and safely operating equipment. By supporting our company's Noble Purpose, your top priority will be to "care about our guests, and the impact you make on their lives."

This is a physically demanding position and requires a high level of energy, attention to detail, and strong customer service skills to keep up with the demands of a very busy practice facility.

• Introduce self and create good rapport with all patrons. Greet all members and guests in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
• Provide information on range procedures, buckets, and facility policies.
• Assist guests with equipment needs (loaner clubs, tees, etc.).
• Must be able to regularly lift 20+ pounds as required to replenish the driving range.
• Maintain a continuous supply of clean range balls by operating ball-washing and ball-collecting equipment safely and efficiently.
• Regularly collect balls from the range using range picker equipment, carts, and by hand.
• Set up and maintain hitting areas, including mats, loaner clubs, and seating area.
• Assist driving range staff, including Ball Shack staff, with keeping range stations clean and organized by removing spent buckets, cleaning mats, picking up tees, trash removal, and restocking supplies.
• Operate all equipment (range picker, ball washer, carts) safely and responsibly.
• May perform other duties as assigned

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends, and holidays).
• Physical ability to lift, on occasion, up-to 50 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Must be at least 16 with a valid driver’s license (for operating range vehicles).
