Security Officer Unarmed
- Hospital in Greenville, SC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving position requires a valid driver's license.

Pay Rate: $19.19 / Hour

Job Schedule:

This is a full-time position. You can expect to work a minimum of 30 hours per week. The schedule for this position has not been assigned yet. If you are selected to move forward, your schedule will be determined as you progress through the hiring, onboarding, and training process. Your manager will work with you to assign a schedule based on business needs before your start date.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors while carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare facility, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Monitor for unusual activity, report observations and hazards to appropriate personnel, and help to deter unauthorized access or disruptive behavior.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and communication with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
