Full Stack Engineer

The Full Stack Engineer I is responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining front-end and back-end applications. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, scalable software features that align with documented business requirements and adhere to INSP quality standards. The Full Stack Engineer I collaborates closely with a cross-functional Agile team to build reliable, maintainable solutions that support organizational objectives

• Translate business requirements into end-to-end software solutions leveraging front-end and back-end technologies.
• Develop and maintain scalable user interfaces, APIs, and supporting services.
• Diagnose and resolve issues across the full application stack, including UI, server-side logic, and data layers.
• Participate in peer code reviews to promote best practices, performance, and code maintainability.
• Execute unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing for all delivered features.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams through daily stand-ups and bi-weekly sprint planning.
• Support management with project estimation, development planning, and architectural discussions.
• Stay current with emerging frameworks, tools, and industry trends relevant to full stack development.

• Bachelor’s degree with a major in Computer Science or commensurate work experience.

• 2+ years of experience developing database-driven applications using PHP and MySQL.
• Working knowledge of Word Press development, including custom theme creation and CMS integration.

• Demonstrates good communication and organizational skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
• Effectively takes direction while remaining flexible to work independently when needed.

• Maintain focus on achieving stated business goals and objectives.

Normal workdays are 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday with rotating after-hour technical support

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is not exposed to weather conditions outside of normal travel between locations. Ability to commute between business office locations is required.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
• Typical office environment; may experience minor discomfort from extensive use of a computer display and keyboard; travel between buildings on campus and between campuses; may travel out-of-town to attend training and meetings on an as needed basis.
