Job Number: fullstack-software-development-engineer
Job DescriptionThis is a hands-on, individual contributor role for someone who enjoys owning software delivery from start to finish. You'll design, develop, deploy, and support enterprise-grade internal applications across the business — covering everything from architecture and coding through to CI/CD, production support, and ongoing enhancements. You'll work independently, contribute to our engineering standards, and have genuine scope to shape how things are built.
If you like solving real business problems with clean, well-built software, you'll fit right in.
- Lead development of internal enterprise applications across the full software development lifecycle.
- Build backend services, APIs, integrations, and frontend web apps using C#, .NET, JavaScript/Type Script, Angular, SQL, and No
SQL. - Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub Actions, Jenkins, or similar).
- Support cloud-based deployments across Azure and/or AWS.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and optimise performance.
- Write and maintain automated unit, integration, and functional tests.
- Contribute to architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical documentation.
- Use AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Git Hub Copilot/Codex, or Cursor to work smarter and deliver faster.
- 3–5 years' hands-on experience in enterprise software development and production support.
- Strong C# / .NET experience (.NET Framework and/or .NET Core / .NET 8+).
- Front-end experience with JavaScript/Type Script and Angular.
- Solid grasp of REST APIs, OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
- Experience with SQL Server and a No
SQL database such as MongoDB, including complex queries and performance tuning. - Hands‑on cloud experience with Azure and/or AWS.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment.
- A practical, detail‑oriented approach and the ability to work independently and follow issues through to resolution.
- Experience with AI-assisted coding tools and LLM-based / agentic application development.
- React, Next.js, and Node.js.
- Microservices and event-driven architecture.
- Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Observability tooling (Application Insights, Cloud Watch, or similar).
- Agile/Scrum delivery experience.
- A diploma or degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field is preferred.
