About the Role

As a Credit Manager, you’ll lead credit risk and collections strategy to protect revenue, optimize cash flow, and strengthen customer relationships. You’ll design and refine credit policies, evaluate creditworthiness, set limits and terms, and guide a high-performing team to reduce DSO and bad debt. Partnering with Finance and Commercial, you’ll align risk with growth, ensure audit/regulatory compliance, and deliver clear portfolio insights to leadership.

Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and refine credit and collections policies aligned with company strategy.
  • Analyze credit applications, assess solvency and risk, and establish limits and payment terms.
  • Monitor portfolio aging to detect delinquency risk and drive action plans.
  • Lead and coach the credit and collections team to meet recovery and CEI targets.
  • Partner with Sales/Finance to balance risk and growth; negotiate payment plans with key clients.
  • Prepare management reports on aging, provisions, write-offs, and risk exposure.
  • Ensure regulatory and audit compliance across processes and controls.
  • Improve cash conversion cycle and working capital via process and policy enhancements.
  • Leverage advanced Excel and Net Suite ERP to automate and improve reporting.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 3–5+ years in credit and collections management (consumer goods, industrial, or financial services preferred).
  • Strong financial analysis and credit risk expertise; knowledge of local regulations.
  • Proven team leadership and stakeholder management with Sales/Finance.
  • Advanced Excel (pivots, lookups, Power Query/modeling); ERP experience (Net Suite preferred).
  • Negotiation/conflict resolution; results-driven with KPI focus (DSO, CEI, bad debt).
  • Intermediate/advanced English; high professional ethics and sound judgment under pressure.
