We are looking for a Payments & Cash & Banking Specialist to work in our global Finance team. Based in Kuala Lumpur, this role will perform payments, cash and banking activities for entities across the region working to standardised processes, and working in an efficient, and compliant manner while meeting local operational needs.

The successful candidate will report to the Regional P2P Lead and will work within the P2P team to ensure the timely processing of invoices and other payable transactions.

• Being supplier- and customer-focused, this role will partner with both to ensure invoices are paid on time.
• Working on the Net Suite One World ERP to ensure timely execution of payments to suppliers and employees.
• Owning the execution of scheduled payment runs from start to finish.
• Working closely with invoice processing team to ensure accurate generation of payment proposals.
• Validating and managing requests for urgent payment.
• Manage daily cash operations including monitoring cash positions, processing bank transactions, and reconciling accounts.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of all cash and banking activities for reporting and audit purposes.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing cash and banking reports.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining cash management tools within Netsuite One World to optimize cash flow and banking operations.
• Ensure compliance with corporate treasury policies, accounting standards, and local regulations.

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a similar field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems’ functionality, specifically Net Suite, is highly desirable.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working within a Payments and/or Cash & Banking function.
• Strong ability to monitor complex data workflows and identify issues before they impact the business.
• Excellent communication skills and command of written and spoken English.
• Ability to deliver accurate results under tight deadlines and manage competing priorities effectively.
