Yard Operative 360 Excavator Operator

Location:

Hinckley, LE10  Pay:  £15.00 per hour PAYE

Contract:

Temporary  24 August 2026 to 31 January 2027 (possibilty of becoming perm)

Hours:

45 hours per week

Working Hours:

7:30am  4:30pm
We are recruiting for an experienced  Yard Operative / 360 Excavator Operator  to join a busy operational site in Hinckley.
This is a hands-on yard-based role and applicants  must hold a valid 360 Excavator licence  and have experience operating  both tracked and wheeled excavators using pedal grabs .
## Duties
Operate 360 excavators safely and efficiently
Operate both  tracked and wheeled machines
Use  pedal grabs  to handle and move materials
Load, unload and move materials around the yard
Carry out routine machine and safety checks
Maintain a safe and tidy working environment
Support general yard operations when required
Follow all site health and safety procedures
## Essential Requirements
Valid 360 Excavator licence/ticket   Tracked and wheeled excavator experience   Previous experience operating pedal grabs  Previous experience working within a yard, recycling, waste, aggregates, metals or similar operational environment Good understanding of site health and safety Reliable and able to work as part of a busy operational team

Applicants without the required 360 excavator licence and relevant operating experience will not be considered.  £15 00 per hour PAYE   45 hours per week   Immediate August start  Please apply with an up-to-date CV outlining your relevant excavator and pedal grab experience.
