T. R. Long Engineering, PC is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support our engineering and surveying operations. This position plays a critical role in ensuring projects move efficiently from initiation through completion by coordinating schedules, tracking project milestones, managing permit processes, and providing administrative support to both the office staff and company owner.

The ideal candidate is proactive, professional, and capable of managing multiple tasks while maintaining strong communication with clients, government agencies, and internal team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and schedule engineering and surveying projects.
  • Monitor projects from initiation through completion to ensure deadlines and milestones are met.
  • Assist with the preparation, submission, and tracking of permits and related documentation.
  • Follow up with permitting agencies and clients regarding permit status updates and approvals.
  • Coordinate and track meetings, reviews, and approvals throughout each phase of the permitting process.
  • Maintain project records, schedules, and correspondence.
  • Provide backup support for the Office Administrator, including administrative and clerical tasks as needed.
  • Assist the company owner with various administrative, scheduling, and project-related responsibilities.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
Qualifications
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Prior experience in project coordination, administrative support, engineering, surveying, construction, or a related field is preferred.
