Administrative Assistant
Be the first point of connection to county government! Are you friendly, organized, and passionate about providing excellent customer service? Join our team as an Administrative Assistant in the Liberty County Board of Commissioners' office, where you'll be an important first point of contact for members of the public visiting or contacting the main office. You'll also provide administrative support to the County Administration department and help ensure the office operates efficiently and professionally.
The Liberty County Board of Commissioners is seeking dependable, professional candidates for the full-time position of Administrative Assistant in the County Administration department. This position provides clerical, customer service, claims handling, and public information support for the department.

Physical demands/work environment:
- The work is typically performed while sitting at a desk or table or while intermittently sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, or stooping.
- The employee occasionally lifts light objects.
- The work is typically performed in an office.
Requirements:
Minimum qualifications:
- Associates degree in a course of study related to the occupational field preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years of related experience required.
Salary, schedule, and benefits:
This is a full-time hourly (non-exempt) position with a starting salary range of $42,800 - $44,500 depending on qualifications and experience. The typical work schedule is Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Some extra hours may be required. The Board of Commissioner's office is located in the Courthouse Annex in downtown, Hinesville.
