Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery
Location: Hinesville, Georgia
Type: Contract
Work Model: Onsite
Hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 3 days a week, scheduled as needed, every other weekend shift

Overview

Seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery / Postpartum RN for a 13-week contract in Hinesville, GA supporting an LDRP model in a small-hospital setting. Day shift (7a–7p), three 12s/week, every other weekend; GA RN license + BLS/ACLS/NRP/STABLE required.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to mothers during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period.
  • Monitor maternal and fetal well-being and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
  • Assist physicians and healthcare providers during labor and delivery procedures.
  • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital policies.
  • Educate patients and family members regarding labor, delivery, recovery, and newborn care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.
  • Adhere to all hospital, regulatory, and patient safety standards.
Requirements
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Georgia.
  • Recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience.
  • Current ACLS certification.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Current NRP certification.
  • Current STABLE certification.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a community hospital setting.
  • Experience managing high-acuity Labor & Delivery patients.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required.
