Job Summary
This position is for a Nursery/Postpartum Registered Nurse whose responsibility is to provide day‑to‑day patient care activities to patients receiving therapeutic and diagnostic services in Perinatal Services. The position reports to the Director of Perinatal Services.
Qualifications- Minimum level of
Education:
Education level equivalent to an associate degree in nursing required. - Formal Training:
Clinical competence in nursing required. - Licensure, Certifications & Registration:
Current license to practice professional nursing in the state of Georgia; BLS certification required; ACLS, NRP, STABLE certification required within ninety (90) days of initial employment. Subsequent recertification of STABLE is not required for L&D nurses. Subsequent recertification is required for Nursery Nurses. NRP required. - Work Experience:
Minimum of four years work experience in Postpartum/Nursery or NICU required.
